Soul Exchange now works more like the effect of Last Will. Once you activate Soul Exchange in your Main Phase 1, you do not need to designate an opponent's monster to tribute at the activation of Soul Exchange. You can do so if and when you decide to perform a Tribute or Tribute Summon.
You CAN now use Soul Exchange to Tribute Summon a Level 7 or higher monster. This can be done in one of two ways:
1. You can tribute one of your monsters on the field and one of your opponent's monsters through the effect of Soul Exchange.
2. You can use the effect of 2X Soul Exchange to tribute two of your opponent's monsters. In other words, you can activate two Soul Exchanges and, since you do not have to designate a tribute monster immediately, use the effect of both to Tribute Summon a high level monster at some later point in your turn.
