@Nataku-san: Gottglaube wie ich ihn verstehe, ist nicht das Abschieben von Verantwortung. Im Gegenteil. Jesus lehrt, dass wir selber Verantwortung übernehmen müssen, soviel wir können. Dafür gibt es auch in der Bibel das Gleichnis vom trägen und vom weisen Knecht. Auch in neuzeitlicher Offenbarung wird immer wieder betont, wie wichtig es ist, Verantwortung zu übernehmen.

Ob Jesus nun den Buddhismus reformiert hat oder nicht, darüber kann ich nichts sagen, ich sagte lediglich, ich halte es für möglich. Da ich aber von Buddhismus so gut wie keine Ahnung habe, ist meine Meinung dazu nicht besonders relevant. Musst also nicht beleidigt sein *peace*

Lavey kenne ich nicht, aber was Mohammed betrifft: Ich glaube, dass auch er von Gott inspiriert war und dass der Islam kein Gegensatz zum Christentum ist. Es ist eben nur ein anderer Weg zum selben Ziel.

Einen Tranzcendentalen Gott gibt es im Christentum auch nicht. Zumindest nicht im wiederhergestellten Christentum. Wir glauben an einen persönlichen Gott mit einem Körper aus "Fleisch und Gebein", der buchstäblich unser Vater ist. Auch im Christentum heißt es: Gott ist ohne Anfang und Ende und Zeit ist nur den Menschen zugemessen.

So wie ich es (mit meinen spärlichen Kenntnissen vom Buddhismus) sehe, liegt gar nicht so viel Unterschied in den Lehren.

Ich halte es nicht für erstrebenswert, dass jeder seinen Glauben verteidigt, denn es gibt nur eine Wahrheit. Und die gilt es zu ergründen (meine Meinung). Also bin ich aufgeschlossen für jede Glaubensrichtung, denn wie du oben auch sagtest: Es gibt viele Wege zum Ziel. Die Frage ist eigentlich nur: Was ist das Ziel?

@Vegetajr: Also soviel ich aus dem (ziemlich komplizierten) englischen Text entnehmen kann, versteht man unter "Fatima Erscheinung" eine Erscheinung der Jungfrau Maria im Vatikan, zum Zweck der Warnung an die Menschen. Von so einer Erscheinung habe ich noch nie zuvor gehört, deshalb weiß ich auch nicht, was die Kirche Jesu Christi dazu sagt. Ich persönlich halte es nicht für unmöglich, dass so eine Erscheinung stattgefunden hat, gerade im Vatikan, wo ja Maria mehr angebetet wird als Jesus oder Gott-Vater. Aber wie aus dem Text ja auch hervorgeht - genützt hat es nichts.
